Another season of Little Athletics in Narrabri is in full flight.
The 2019 Little Athletics season is now five weeks old after the opening afternoon for the year was held on Wednesday, May 1.
This season, the club chose to continue the same format that it used in 2018, where one week the little athletes are put through training drills, followed by a competition week the next week.
New club president Jodie Clayton said the format benefited the children and said training weeks were one of the best parts of Narrabri Little Athletics.
“Training weeks allow the kids to have lots of practice in what they’ll be doing the following week in the competitions.
“At the training days they get to repeatedly practice, and they learn more than just going out and competing all the time.”
