The countdown to the 2019 Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Business Awards is underway.
The Chamber is inviting community members to nominate the local businesses they believe deserve recognition.
Nomination forms are available at Narrabri stores and nominators have the chance to put forward their pick, or picks, in a wide range of categories.
The promotion is designed to provide the opportunity for the community to applaud our local businesses.
Times are tough for business operators as the effects of the drought continue to reach out to impact on businesses large and small.
The Business Awards promotion will culminate in the awards presentation dinner at The Crossing Theatre on Saturday night, September 7.
The awards presentation night is traditionally a gala event and always attracts a capacity audience.
“Be early to book your table for the presentation dinner” suggests Chamber of Commerce president Russell Stewart.
“Seats are limited and quickly sell out.”
In the meantime, the Chamber has urged people to pick up a form and nominate the business they feel should be applauded.
People are invited to nominate and drop their nomination forms off at The Courier or nominate on line on the Chamber website.
